Despite the spring fashion trends of modern romance, light florals and peaches and creams, make-up trends are expected to go to the other end of the scale. There will be no shrinking violets this season.

Eye popping pinks, noticeable neons, bright blues and rouge reds are set to be big throughout spring and summer. The fashion trends are light and floaty while the make-up is bold and brave.

imageL’Oreal Paris have a great range at the moment to keep you on trend. Their Colour Appeal and Colour Infallible eye shadow’s (£6.99) are designed with long-lasting colour in mind with the Infallible range giving ultra-intense colour. I highly recommend the Purple Obsession colour which is an intense colour, but still soft enough to look chic.

To really add some colour to an outfit the Colour Riche Made for Me Intense Lipstick in Burning Rose (£8.67) again by L’Oreal Paris is a real show stopper. The lipstick is even enriched with Vitamin E and Omega-3 oils for a luxurious, moisturised, smooth finish. And if the Burning Rose is too out there for you, the Made for Me range (main image) is designed with every woman’s natural hair colouring and skin tone imagein mind. From blonde to brunette hair and olive to dark skin they range will have something to suit you.

If lipstick isn’t really your thing then the Glam Shine Reflexion range (£8.67) now boasts 7 new shades to choose from. For something a little more daring, try the Sheer Pitaya colour or for a lighter everyday look, try the Sheer Pink. Like the lipsticks, the glosses have moisturising ingredients so underneath the colour your lips will be in tip top condition.

The L’Oreal range is impressive this season and whether you find youself wanting to stand out from the crowd in bright rainbow colours or be a little more subtle with lighter, muted shades there is something for everyone and it won’t break the bank either.
