How to Achieve The Perfect Nicola Roberts Look...

Hello so i joined this website in hope of some good advice. I am not a makeup artist but I do have a small insight into makeup as I worked for Benefit for 3 months. I keep asking the ladies ono on the counters in House of Frasers where i am from but I am still clueless. So here goes. All comments welcome.

My look is pale skin, blonde hair, blue eyes. I like to wear little black dress's, nice shoes etc. Lately i wanted to ditch the fake tan and let my natural skin show through. I see that Nicola Roberts does it well

and i want to be able to pull it off. I started by using mac face and body but when you took a picture off me my face looked too pale and shinny. And my body looked like a 12 year old ghost.

I want my makeup to be perfect. Pink cheecks, red lips. Dramatic eye liner and mascara. And i want that light pinky look on my arms and legs too. So I am pale but not white.

I am not sure if i am explaining myself properly.

Any advice welcome

Hiya!

I also rock the pale look and to prevent shine on the face I'd recommend using a matifying primer and finishing powder. Even though you want to be your natural colour and have ditched the fake tan you could use a natural bronzer on face and body just to take the edge away and add a little subtle colour. Even with a little bronzer on the face (sweeping it just across the forehead line (only)) a healthy glow is instantly added to the skin as this is where people naturally tan. You may not be used to seeing yourself so pale yet! And you can still go for blusher and red lips with this look.

Luminous body creams and tinted moisturisers can also give skin a healthy and natural glow. Regular exfoliation and moisturiser will also keep your body in tip top condition and leave it looking radiant rather than dull.

Hope this helps!

Hey I recommend you Beth Bender Beauty eyeliner stencil for your perfect smokey eye look. Choose to apply blush to your powder cheeks as it will last longer and apply lightly to the apples of your cheeks.
