Elemis Sp@Home Ranges
If you love a good pamper, you’ll love the new Sp@home concept from nature-inspired brand Elemis. Sp@home consists of five results-driven collections – Body Exotics, Body Soothing, Body Awaken, Body Performance and Body Anti-ageing –that contain Elemis best-sellers, and 14 new products. Whether you’re stressed at work, or flagging from the weekend, these ranges have the perfect combo of luxury and therapy to keep you in top form.
Elemis’ Sp@home ranges make the D.I.Y spa selection process very easy indeed. If you want to drift away to a faraway place, choose products from the Body Exotics range for their tropical mix of ingredients. Need to relax? The Body Soothing range is for you, with its wild lavender scented De-Stress Massage Oil and award winning Skin Nourish Milk Bath. If a wake-up call is what you require, the Body Awaken range has a mix of energising thyme, basil and neroli products to help you brighten up. Worked out and worn out? Then follow your exercise regime with any of the muscle-relaxing treatments from the Body Performance range. And if an injection of youth is what you’re after, the scientifically formulated products in the Body Anti-ageing range have the answer. In short, Elemis Sp@home ranges help tailor your beautifying downtime to your needs.
Not one to miss out on a luxurious spa treatment or two, I tested four products from the Sp@Home ranges – Cellutox Active Body Oil from the Body Performance range, Quiet Mind Temple Balm and Room Mist from the Body Soothing range, and Tranquil Touch Indulgent Bath Elixir from the Body Exotics range. But did each product have the desired effect? Well, yes, actually.
First on trial was Elemis’ new Tranquil Touch Bath Indulgent Bath Elixir. I put a capful of the soak into a running bath and bathed away. Infused with skin soothing cocoa butter and mind easing patchouli, cedarwood and vetivert, the exotic scent of this elixir melts anxieties away in minutes, and is very addictive.
Next on test was the Cellutox Active Body Oil, which contains a potent blend of detoxifying sea buckthorn, sea fennel, lemon and juniper essential oils that smell invigorating and feel refreshing. I rubbed the oil on to my legs post-run and could instantly feel my skin tightening as it went to work on my thighs – a fantastic way to kick-start any exercise plan.
Then came the wind down to bedtime - the Quiet Mind Temple Balm contains a powerful mix of calming and cooling essential oils that went to work on my tired mind. I simply rubbed a little of the gel into my temples and instantly melted away – bliss. Followed with a spritz of the Quiet Mind Room Mist on my pillow, I was in restful heaven. Both products are well worth investing in if you have trouble escaping the stress of everyday life.
Price & Packaging
The striking jewel-coloured packaging of each range is the ‘pièce de résistance’ of Elemis’ sp@home bodycare concept. You can instantly hone on the product that is right for you, and it makes these luxurious products look every bit as classy as they feel. Well worth the price tags which start at £14.
Overall score: 9/10
It’s hard to find anything bad to say about what is, ultimately, a luxurious ‘pick-and-mix’ for beauty fanatics. Every product in the sp@home range is an indulgently effective treatment in its own right. By putting them together, the people at Elemis are showing us that they have our needs in mind, and you can’t say fairer than that.
